Newman University

A student-centred Catholic University, Newman offers a values driven formative education informed by the latest research. All students undertake a work placement as part of their degree, enabling them to relate the theory they learn in class to real world scenarios. This experience contributes to Newman consistently having one of the best graduate employment rates of UK universities.

Formed in 1968 to train teachers, Newman has expanded to provide a wide range of full and part-time single and combined honours degrees, higher degrees and work-based foundation degrees.

An on-going £20million investment in the campus, including a new library building, research centre, theatre and sporting facilities ensures that students have access to the facilities required to reach their potential.

Newman University is characterised by a challenging yet supportive environment which develops students into independent, creative thinkers with an international perspective capable of making a difference in the world.
